"Even as a kid, I've always been making things but I guess in the end life brought me back to art.."
A: Please, tell us a bit more about yourself. What brought you to art?
O: Even as a kid, I've always been making things but I guess in the end life brought me back to art, like a compulsion I felt like I just had to create things and couldn't do anything else at that point.
A: What inspires you the most?
O: Medical and natural curiosities, the human condition, the body, mortality, puns, and deadlines
A: Do you have any specific rituals while working (creating)?
O: I’ve always wanted to but I descend into chaos pretty quickly while working so unfortunately no I don't.
A: Your top 3 adjectives related to art?
O: Disturbing, visceral, inspiring
A: Your favorite Czech artists?
O: There are so many but I could say I admire Toyen, Jan Svankmajer, and Richard Stipl
A: Where can we meet you?
O: I'm in the studio most of the time but unfortunately, I currently don't have a proper studio space where I can host people, so I can be found at the events of my exhibitions.
